It is amazing the shit you see on any given day. I was on location for Coke shooting in the woods opposite a little beach area when I noticed these two guys no more than 100 yards apart. They were both dead asleep, oblivious to the crowds of people looking, pointing and laughing. I couldn’t help myself. Enjoy!

Today, my website got featured on Comm Arts’ web picks gallery. I really appreciate all the buzz my website is getting. Big shoutout to the guys over at Canvas Group in Australia that worked really hard to deliver me a state of the art site.

I was driving home from the studio one early day last week and saw this house that I had never seen before. I had been traveling the same road for many years and never noticed it. It dawned on me that I hadn’t seen if before because it had been blocked from sight due to an overgrowth of brush that had surrounded it. It looked like something out of a horror movie. I had to photograph the inside. The next day I grabbed my Canon 5D and 24mm 1.4 and broke in. Yeah, broke in. This is how I do things. I am from the streets ya know. I have to admit it still creeps me out being in abandoned places like that all by yourself wandering from floor to floor. There was a loose window pane that constantly rattled. Freaked me out. Here are a few pics that I thought were cool. I plan on going back in the next few weeks to snap some more pics.
Just came off of another Coke meals shoot with Arc Worldwide. Matt Denton and crew headed out to my studio for a week of nonstop shooting where we had a full sized kitchen and living room build out. Pretty awesome stuff. Here is a sneak peak
We recently hung out poolside at one of my favorite RedSox players houses. David Ortiz or Big Papi was our subject and the client was Vitamin Water. We were there to shoot him for an ad that will give viewers a chance to win a pool party with David Ortiz. We had him for about an hour and shot him both in and out of the water. I got a chance to use my little Canon G9 with its water housing. He was so stoked on that camera that I gave it to him after the shoot. He must have thanked me about a dozen times. It was nice to see someone like him still very appreciative of things like that.
Here are some behind the scenes shots.

A while back I had decided that I would put together a story, a series of images that would resemble a graphic novel or comic book using photographs that I would shoot over a period of time. Well, it has been a year to date and things are moving smoothly. We just finished another shoot this week and have about 6 more to do before I can actually say it is done. Some of the props used in this graphic novel I made myself including these weapons you see here. These weapons were specifically designed for a group of people within the story I like to call, “the undesirables”. I created them utilizing different parts from plastic weapons, power tools, car parts, movie projectors, and other items that I would find in flea markets, antique stores, yard sales, and junk yards. They truly are one of a kind.
My site is up for an award over at the FWA. Please take some time and vote by clicking HERE. Thanks yall!
Here is where I was July 8, 2010. Go Celtics.
Matt Denten, Ryan Maconochie, and Kasey Moore of Arc Worldwide approached me to create a look for their new MIller Highlife campaign. The look was to feel “painted”. When I say painted I don’t neccesarily mean painterly. We spend several days in the studio testing out a few looks and finally landed on a treatment that we all agreed on. We brought in an active soldier to the studio and photographed him against a hand painted American flag. The campaign entitled “Give a Veteran a piece of the HighLife” is one that gives back.
For every High Life cap or tab you drop off at select retailers or mail in, Miller will donate 10-cents toward High Life Experiences for returning vets. Up to a million dollars will go toward paying soldiers’ way into sport events, concerts, outdoor adventures and more. Live the High life. Give the Highlife. Check out the pics below.

I was interviewed for PDN’s June issue about the World Cup campaign I shot for 180 Amsterdam and Adidas earlier this year. I blogged about this shoot earlier this year showing visuals of the lighting setup. It was quite amazing. We used all Broncolor packs and heads due to the simple fact that their flash duration and recycle times are better allowing crisp shots when shooting action.
